As Mothers of boys, we know how important it is to create moments of deep connection as our Sons grow up. Where we can honour the very special bond we share and honour our Sons for the glorious humans they are, at this stage of their journey.
This event was incredible last year, so we wanted to invite those who attended back to connect a whole year later (+ we all know how much they’ve grown since then!) and also invite all new Mama’s and their Sons to experience this.
This collaboration offers ceremony with Tara Aldridge, Circle + Connection with Gill Howarth from Born Wise + Earth Skills with Steve from Wild Movement who brings his energy + wisdom as Son and a Father of 3 to this creation.
Combining our unique skillsets to hold an afternoon of bonding, connection + fortification of the Mother-Son relationship.
This immersion will be held under the trees, upon the earth and around the fire. With all elements being woven specifically with our Sons in mind.
This will follow a similar flow as last year, with a unique spin on it for those who joined last year.
What to expect:
Movement games to get our bodies moving + energy grounded
Opening/welcome + clay ceremony in the shelter
Bonding via a Mother-Son skills challenge guided by Steve
Mothers healing circle with Gill whilst the boys practice Earth skills with Steve
Honouring/Connection Ceremony for each child + their Mother guided by Tara
Toasting marshmellows, drinking hot chocolate + connecting around the fire
This will be a completely unique experience where ceremony + connection will be woven with earth skills + movement. Expect it to be joy filled, messy + dynamic + emotive.
