The Winter Solstice is the peak point of the rich and fertile darkness, the symbolic ‘womb’ of the year. The longest/darkest night that has seen ancient traditions globally honour the ‘Great Mother’ in all her forms as the one who births the light.
This event is a moment of returning, of remembering and of uniting as Mothers at a time where our true power is needed more than ever.
Here are the words that flowed through for this offering, the instructions and the intention:
‘Gather The Mothers, and return them to eachother.
Draw them back into the circle where the thread that connects all can be felt and tugged on in times of loneliness, in times of grief and in times of fear.
Bring them back together, heart to heart, so they can see themselves in one another.
So they can remember through each other.
So they can draw upon the power and love that they give the world, and feel it seep like honey through their own tender hearts.
So they declare through their voices what is allowed here and what is not.
For they speak, love and nurture on behalf of the Divine Mother.
They are her Daughters.
They are her many expressions in flesh and bone.
She lives, breathes, births and creates through them.
And she will not be ignored.
Gather the Mothers.
Remind them that they hold the power to birth this world anew, that the visions they hold for the world carry more weight than they’ve been led to believe.
Call them home to their rightful place.
Hold them. Trust them. Believe in them.
And remind them that their forgotten power holds the key to restoration. To rebirth. To renew.
Gather the Mothers.
Let them hold their vision.
For their truest visions for the world are each the same.
Let them decide how this story goes.
Let them birth it into reality.
Let them weave in the energetic planes so pristinely that the physical has no chance but to bow to it.
